State Level Pesta Kaamatan Launching Ceremony.

The month of May has arrived and Pesta Kaamatan celebrations begin. It is a symbolic celebration for the Kadazandusun and Murut community to celebrate the success of rice farmers for their bountiful yield. And yesterday (1st May ) 4 members of the Mansau-Ansau Photography Club (Wan, Nizman, Charles, a new member & myself) went to Papar to witness the launching of the State Level Kaamatan Festival.

Appey Rowenna Tomui was crowned Papar's Unduk Ngadau 2009. 2nd , Fiona John William and Jennifer Priscilla Junis in the 3rd place.
